Austin Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Miami University and his Master of Arts (MA) degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. He is currently completing his Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis.
Austin has had previous clinical experience at a college counseling center providing individual therapy to young adults during a critical period of development. Furthermore, Austin has both therapy and psychological assessment experience in a private practice setting working with individuals across the lifespan who present with a range of concerns. In addition, he has spent time as a crisis counselor and is experienced with risk assessment and de-escalation.
Austin has a particular interest in helping those who struggle with anxiety, mood disorders, and PTSD, both through therapy and psychological testing. His clinical work includes an integrated approach that utilizes person-centered and interpersonal process theory to conceptualize and treat the client’s presenting concerns. Austin follows a here-and-now perspective to help you discover the best version of yourself. Austin provides a caring, safe, and comfortable environment to help the clients process and experience their emotions and thoughts so they can reach their therapeutic goals.
