Allie believes in the power of therapy and the importance of feeling safe with a therapist. Allie takes an approach of being empathic, understanding, and collaborative to meet goals that the clients bring in. Allie utilizes different therapeutic techniques such as person-centered, interpersonal, psychodynamic, and attachment theory to address client’s concerns.
Clinical Interests
Allie has a passion for working with adolescents and early adult populations and helping
increase coping. Allie has specialty working with religious and spiritual concerns, survivors of sexual abuse, athletes, and foster care/adoption systems. Allie is devoted to increasing her client’s coping skills for those dealing with anxiety, depression, and other mental health
concerns. Allie is committed to provide affirming care and honors those who come from
marginalized identities.
Education
Allie completed her education from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in 2023, graduating with her doctorate in psychology. Allie has had experience working in college counseling centers, outpatient clinics, and hospitals.
Psychological Testing:
Allie has received comprehensive training in psychodiagnostic assessment with adolescents, and adults across private practice and hospital settings. She uses assessment to provide clarity regarding diagnoses such as Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Learning Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and questions regarding personality structure in adults. Allie incorporates cognitive, academic, and personality measures, in addition to information and measures from collateral sources, such as family members or teachers, to ensure a thorough and accurate evaluation. She views the assessment process as an opportunity to help clients and families feel a sense of certainty not just about diagnoses, but about treatment and their next steps moving forward.
